My name is Aravind. I have a shop in Sarjapur, Bangalore.
When I heard about the 21-day lockdown, I was anxious about how to run my family, and how to clear all my commitments. This pressure greatly affected me mentally & physically. I had a baby in my home, so my wife asked me not to open the store.
For the first 10 days, I didn’t open the shop. After those 10 days, I thought I would get some hope to open the shop, but I didn’t, because I couldn’t go to the market to purchase the items. The main reason was that the market would be crowded. No matter how much we try to be safe- with crowds, nothing is in control. I was afraid. At that time, I was confused about how to open the store.
Eventually, when I spoke to Ninjacart, they said they can supply the items; they helped me a lot in corona time. With that confidence, I felt I could open my store. I opened my store, and they properly delivered all the items correctly to me. I could continue the business now. It was very helpful. If they were not there, I really don’t know what condition I would be in. I literally had to stop selling vegetables, because I didn’t have plans to go to the market at that time.
I thank Ninjacart for their support to small business owners like me.
