Making on-time deliveries a priority
Shashank handles operations and sales at his MDC – from lotting and batching to deliveries and customer visits. Despite the restricted operations during the lockdown, he never failed to deliver by 6 am. Even when an LML vehicle arrived late at 5 am Shashank worked with labours and auto drivers to unload and batch 8 tonnes of SKUs in a record time of 45 minutes. His hard work and commitment to providing good services also helped him gain more customers in the area.

Taking charge of labour and operations
Shashank’s biggest challenge during the lockdown was managing labours. Earlier, they would come to work by bus or metro. But without a vehicle or an ID card, it became difficult to travel early in the morning. Shashank and a few other executives took the initiative to pick the labours up from their homes. After their shift, the labours were safely dropped at home in MDC autos. He also worked with the legal team to provide movement passes for all 25 of his MDC’s autos. Shashank was able to make 10 tonnes of business daily on ensuring his MDC Operations ran smoothly.
What motivates Shashank
Shashank looks up to his seniors and co-founders. He admires their dedication to the company and how they never let any problems come in their way. He has learned a lot from them and worked very hard to earn the best MDC Executive award. Most importantly, he is thankful that he was able to keep his executives, labours, and drivers safe by enforcing safety precautions throughout the second wave of the pandemic.
Shashank is a proud Ninja and a COVID Warrior!
